Bishop Arrested Over Healing ‘Marathon Sex’ With Sickle Cell Patient

Ebonyi State Police have arrested the General Overseer of Champion the Truth Cathedral, Bishop Ndibueze Okorie, for allegedly exploiting a 22-year-old sickle cell patient.

According to report, police confirmed the arrest and in a viral testimony, the cleric is accused of coercing the vulnerable woman into a week-long sexual act, falsely promising to change her genotype from SS to AA through spiritual means.

Details of police report against Okorie says he was arrested on October 1 by the Ebonyi State Police.

The 22-year-old victim was living in his church for divine healing of her sickle cell anaemia. The cleric allegedly prescribed a seven-day marathon sex to change her genotype to AA.


The victim complied out of desperation, after which her health reportedly worsened.


The Bishop allegedly threatened to leak intimate photos if she left him.
Her nude pictures later appeared online, which the cleric claims were AI-generated.


The Police Public Relations Officer confirmed the arrest and that an investigation is ongoing.


This case reveals how predators navigate storms not just of faith, but of the desperate hope of the vulnerable, turning sanctuary into a trap.
