As she marks her 50th birthday,wife of Lord Bishop, The Rt. Rev. Ifedola Okupevi, Mrs Modupe Roseline Okupevi, has been described as a model, whose exemplary qualities as mother and wife, enabled her maintain her office as the Head of Department of Girls and Ladies Guild by the Anglican Diocese for 16 years.
In a goodwill message to the reputable educationist as she clocks 50, St Gabriel’s Anglican Church Ajegbende Epe, affirmed that the testimony of her exemplary leadership qualities, are the several women she nurtured as the Head of Department of Girls and Ladies Guild. Under her watch the department won the best department award several times in the Diocese.
An astute educationist, Mama Lagos, as she is fondly called, is an Assistant Director of Education in Lagos State who has also distinguished herself a mother and wife.
To her credit, the proud mother of two lovely children; Sesede Victoria and Selome Victor, was recipient of Best Clergy wife Award of Excellence of late Mrs Modupe Oluwole Award 2016.
This major quality, explains why she was held in trust, to discharge several meritorious assignments in key positions in the Diocese,among which was her appointment as the Head of Department of Girls and Ladies Guild in 2007. A position she held for 16 years meritoriously till their elevation to episcopacy.
A prayer warrior, Mrs Okupevi, the St Gabriel’s congratulatory message said, has also established herself in the area of counselling and singing, even as the Anglican Church Ajegbende Epe, also described her as ” a supportive wife, wonderful mother, diligent homemaker, hospitable, charitable and a generous Christian woman, lover of children who is passionate about welfare of Pastors and their wives, yet, a disciplinarian given to modesty, moderation ,decency and a fashionista”
Mrs. Modupe Oluwa Abosede Omolade Senami Roseline Okupevi was born to the Family of Mr Timothy and Mrs Catherine Adeyemi of Eti Obu,Ilugun Alaro Area of Ijebu North East , Ogun State on the 19th of October, 1975.
She attended RCM Primary School, Mojoda, Epe from 1980 to 1986,Okemagba Secondary School, Mojoda Epe 1987-1990 and Odomola Secondary School, Odomola respectively from 1990 to 1992.
She then proceeded to Lagos State College of Education (now Adeniran Ogunsanya University of Education) and obtained the Nigeria Certificate in Education in Biology and Integrated Science. She further acquired a Bachelors of Education degree in Guidance & Counseling from the University of Ado Ekiti
