Fiery Plateau State clergy, Rev. Ezekiel Dachomo, released a video on Facebook on Wednesday, the 29th of October, 2025, detailing a shocking attack in the state.

He said Fulani bandits invaded a hospital, kidnapped several Christian girls, took them into a rocky area, and gang-raped them at gunpoint for hours before letting them go.

Rev. Dachomo, the Regional Chairman of the Church of Christ in Nations, COCIN, in Barkin Ladi Local Government Area, explained that the attackers arrived heavily armed with AK-47 rifles, swords, and machetes. They seized girls who were receiving treatment and dragged them into nearby rocks.

He said some Muslim victims were spared, while only the Christian girls were subjected to the horrific assault.

In the video, Rev. Dachomo spoke with one of the survivors. She recounted how the bandits stormed the hospital around 8pm on Saturday, the 17th of October, kidnapped the patients, and moved them out of the facility.

According to him, the attackers separated the Christians once they got to the rocky area.
“They didn’t touch their fellow members of Islam. They isolated our Christian girls and raped them for more than eight hours,” he said in the video.

He added that the girls, including one who had only come to care for her sick mother, were beaten and raped at gunpoint.

“The kidnapped girls, including one who was specifically at the hospital to care for her admitted mother, were forced away to the rocky areas in the night. There, the militants battered them and raped them at gunpoint,” he stressed.

After the long ordeal, the girls either escaped or were abandoned. Many crawled back towards the hospital close to midnight, crying for help. Medical staff attended to them immediately and helped save their lives.

He described the attack as a targeted strike on Christian victims. He also stated that on the same day, the same group abducted the wife of a church member, Reverend Zephaniah Mangut.

“That was another deliberate blueprint to deal with Christians. The same Fulani jihadists also kidnapped the wife of one of our brothers, Reverend Zephaniah Mangut, on the same day. This is the life of a Christian in Nigeria,” he lamented.
