Lagos Traffic Radio Hits 100,000 FB Followership

Lagos Traffic Radio 96.1FM has achieved a spectacular new digital milestone, officially crossing the 100,000-follower mark on Facebook.

The General Manager of the station, Mr Tayo Akanle who disclosed this to ThePageNews, said the new growth is a powerful testament to the station’s pivotal role in providing essential, real-time traffic information to commuters through its social media platforms, affirms its place as a digital leader among specialised broadcast media.

The current momentum he maintained, is strong, with over 760 new followers having joined the community after the initial long-term supporters.

While the Facebook platform takes center stage, the station’s overall digital footprint is robust, with the X (formerly Twitter) account boasting over 57,000 followers and the Instagram platform steadily growing with 3,565 followers and counting.
